“Im a 6’2 combo guard that loves to put the ball in the basket & keep my players involved. I Shoot the 3 great, good ball handler. Could work on my pull up but it’s in pretty good shape as well. A little thin but can & will get bigger before next fall.”
TMB is ultra competitive and doesn’t back down to a challenge. His range is ever extending and quick to get off. He is an under rated defender with great footwork and quickness. His handle is very effective when he gets picked up outside of the arc and will be a “playmaker” at the next level. Markieth has an ALL GO work ethic and is a dependable, coachable young man. Bottom line is that we’ve watched him play against “over seas” pros and he can ball. He’s a complete basketball player, on and off the court!
What NWPreps has said about Markieth:
Jan 27, 2017-“Markieth Brown lit up the scoreboard with 25 points on 10 baskets to give Shadle Park (14-3, 12-3) a 81-69 road victory over University (7-10, 7-8) Friday night.”
Jan 6, 2017– “Shadle Park (10-1, 8-1) continued their great season defeating Central Valley (8-3, 6-3)…. Markieth Brown scored 20 points as well, including five three-pointers.”
6-0, Junior, Guard (Jan 2, 2016- 11.2/ppg)
Markieth Brown, is the other Brown for the Highlanders but you may not know it if you are new to watching the prep games in Spokane. M. Brown has proven that he is as dangerous as any when it comes to putting the ball in the hoop. He has great quickness and elusiveness with the bounce and brings a swift release on his 3 ball which is more than likely going down. This kid can play!
